That Smug Look

 . . . that smug look when you've cheated death . . .

 . . . and are completely back to normal . . .

. . . and have the couch to yourself.

I'm so glad! I've thought about him several times and was hoping you would report on how his is.

I'm so happy for you!

I saw the subject line in my e-mail program and knew right away: This is going to be a Fitzwilliam post! :)

So glad to hear he is doing well. Please give him some extra cuddles from me. What a handsome guy -- he's got reason to be smug.

We recently had to say goodbye to our female twin of Fitzwilliam after suffering from cancer. Enjoy your sweetie pie for as long as you can!

Maybe St. Gertrude of Nivelles (the Patron Saint of Cats and those who love them) has been watching out for all of you.
Wishing your furface continued good health,

That is a lovely thing about animals; they are so in the moment - no worries about past or future. It's so nice to see him happy and relaxed.

Anna, I am so happy that all prayers were answered and he has made a full and happy recovery. He has a guardian angel, that's for sure. He is so amazingly handsome! SusanV from Northern VA

I'm so thankful he had not yet used up all his lives! Celebration with a full can of tuna perhaps?
