The Zookeeper's Pinafore

I was able to rescue this fox and his happy animal friends from the thrift store, where they resided on a pair of pristine nursery curtains.

Now they're trapped in a pinafore worn by a tiny zookeeper!

Available here.

Anna,

I just saw the adorable pinafore and popped over to your shop to see about purchasing it and it wasn't there. Was it snapped up quite quickly?

I think it is really amazingly cute. What an eye you have for re-purposing things!

What a precious model you have employed there! She's getting so grown-up looking! Adorable pinafore, too!

As Michele has just said, Daisy certainly looks grown-up in those pictures! She is a darling and so is the delightful pinafore.
I've just enjoyed reading some of your Christmassy posts from years gone by..... thankyou Anna, for inspiration as always. :)

Super cute! Wish my girl was still young enough to wear something like that. I too popped over to see if it was still there (maybe a gift for someone else I thought)...

Aw man, too late! So adorable, though. At least I got to see the pictures.

How cute! Daisy looks like she grew up a lot since your last picture :-). Looks like it was purchased already...you are so lucky to have such great clientele that snap up your creations within 10 minutes of listing, LOL!

Where did you find such darling fabric? Is it vintage? Your little model is looking so sweet - and grown up! Thanks for sharing it with us today. It reminds me of fleece fabric I bought yesterday for a soft 'throw' for my youngest grandson. He's a busy 14-month-old but he loves to snuggle. I'll share it soon and you will see the similarity.

I want one in my size! I loved to pretend I was a zookeeper when I was Daisy's age. It made looking after our pets so much more fun.

Anna!
I just jumped over to the Etsy shop to purchase this for my niece when it appears others had the thought first. This is too cute! I always look forward to when you post your items for purchase. More, please!

Anna, I just love reading your blog. Sometime, I would love to hear more about your routines: how, really, do you manage it with all those children and so many interests and talents? And where on earth do you find time to search through the thrift store racks for such treasures? You are an inspiration!

Thank you for injecting a little peace and order to my day. I keep hoping it will rub off on me. :)

I'm absolutely convinced after reading your blog for a year that the thrift stores in your area are just chock full of things that don't exist in my part of the country. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous! :)
That fabric is absolutely fantastic.
