"The Secret of Being Filled"

" . . . I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. . ."

Philippians 4:11-12

I love this Scripture - thank you for sharing it! In this world we are constantly bombarded with messages of discontent. It is the idea that we can't be happy without some 'thing' or some 'one' that drives us to constantly strive for more - or to go deeply into financial or emotional debt to obtain what we feel we must have to be happy. God calls us to be content - reminding us that He wants to be the One to fill the deep needs of our hearts, so that whatever external circumstances befall, we are filled with JOY!
Blessings!

Totally off topic, but I just wanted to thank you for blogging about the English Tea Store and their Earl Grey Cream Tea. Both are fabulous!
